Cancer Researcher | Colorectal Cancer | Cancer Immunology & Immunotherapy

I am a biomedical scientist specializing in colorectal cancer, cancer immunology, immunotherapy, and translational cancer research. I hold a PhD in Cell Biology and Pathology from Djillali Liabes University, where my doctoral research combined clinical and epidemiological characterization of colorectal cancer with the investigation of predictive biomarkers of response to immune checkpoint inhibitors.

My current research interests focus on the tumour microenvironment, metastatic disease, immune–tumour interactions, and biomarkers of therapeutic response, with particular interest in colorectal cancer and liver metastasis. I am especially interested in integrating clinically derived evidence with mechanistic, spatial, and single-cell approaches to cancer biology.

My research experience includes clinical data analysis, statistical modelling in R, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, umbrella reviews, and translational interpretation of cancer research. I am also developing expertise in experimental and spatial approaches to cancer biology through future research collaborations and postdoctoral training.

Alongside research, I have experience in university teaching, scientific publishing, peer review, and academic editorial work.
